Privacy notice
When you contact empatheticbot, you’re trusting me with information about you and your business. I use it to understand your inquiry and reply — not to build an advertising profile or fill a marketing list.
Information I collect
The contact form may collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your business name and current website
- What kind of website help you need
- Your goals, timing, and anything else you include in your message
The site and its security services may also process ordinary technical information, such as your IP address, browser details, and request metadata, to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.
How I use it
I use this information to respond to you, evaluate whether we’re a good fit, prepare requested proposals or agreements, protect the contact form, and keep reasonable business records. I do not sell your information. I will not add you to a marketing list.
Who helps process it
I use Cloudflare to host and protect the website, run Turnstile, and route contact-form email. I use Google Workspace to receive, store, and respond to inquiry email. These providers may process information only as needed to provide those services and under their own terms and privacy obligations.
Website security
I use Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form to distinguish people from automated abuse. When Turnstile runs, Cloudflare may process technical signals such as your IP address, browser information, connection characteristics, and the website you’re visiting. Cloudflare uses these signals to provide and improve bot detection — not to identify, profile, or target you. Learn more in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
How long I keep it
I generally keep inquiries that do not lead to a working relationship for up to 12 months after our last contact, then delete them unless I reasonably need to preserve them for security, legal, or recordkeeping purposes. Information connected to an active or former client relationship may be kept longer as part of ordinary business records.
Your choices
You may ask what information I have about you or ask me to correct or delete it, subject to records I reasonably need to retain. Email hello@empatheticbot.com with a privacy question or request.
